Research questions

As we progress through the digital age, how much safer can we feel about personal information being transferred more electronically?

I would look to subject encyclopedias for how safely digital information is being sent through the web. I would look at the web for opinions from other sources on this. Magazines will be helpful for current information.

As cell phone companies are advertising more 'smart phones' for consumers, how will these recent 'hacks' of cell phones effect the consumers decision to purchase them?

I would look to the web for statistical information on how often the phones get hacked. I would look at broadcast media and newspapers for current information.

What can the carriers do to protect their consumers from these malicious attacks to their consumers cell phones?

I would look to the web for expert opinions on how carriers can help consumers. Also, I can look there on the consumers perspective of what the carriers could do to help them feel safer. Magazine articles would be helpful for this also.

Boolean search:
Carriers and proctect and ("cell phones and hack*")

  1. Hi, Tan;

    These are interesting questions and I think you selected useful resources. Digital and Cell Phone privacy are huge topics right now and yet many people are fine giving it up for convenience and access.

    Cheers,
    Andrea
